Delete your Keyaways account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Choose one of the two methods below.
In the app
- 1Open Keyaways and sign in.
- 2On Home, tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- 3Tap Account, then Delete account.
- 4Confirm. You'll be signed out, and deletion starts right away.
By email
Email support@keyaways.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. If you signed in with Apple or Google, tell us which, so we can verify the account is yours. We may ask one follow-up question to confirm your identity.
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your store subscription settings first to avoid being charged.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile and sign-in details
- Saved books, reading and listening progress, and downloads
- Highlights, notes and flashcards, with your review history
- Your extracts, including every link and file you imported, and chat history
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What we may keep
- Purchase records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires
- Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics that cannot identify you
We complete deletion within 30 days of your request and confirm by email.
